On September 30, 2016 ENGIE Services signed a PPP – Public-Private Partnership contract with the Municipality of Opalenica.
The project involves deep modernization of the energy and revitalization of 8 objects.
This is the first agreement of this type of PPP in the Wielkopolska province, and the third in the matter of value in Poland.
The signing of the agreement ended 11 month of the proceedings in the formula of competitive dialogue. The agreement was signed for execution within 12 months of deep modernization of the energy that ensures that the city achieves more than 40% savings in energy consumption in public buildings. The duration of the agreement in the course in which savings are guaranteed is 14 years. In addition, a thorough revitalization will be introduced in all buildings, and the Cultural Centre will be enriched by new space. ENGIE Services – Entity from the Global Corporation ENGIE will be the Partner to the City of Opalenica. Thanks to extensive international experience works in Opalenica will be conducted using the latest solutions available on international markets. This will be another project in the PPP formula in which ENGIE is involved in Poland.
