ENGIE SERVICES in October 2016 received entry in the register of eco-management and audit scheme (EMAS). For a company this is the confirmation of compliance with the most strict requirements of environment protection.
EMAS (ang. Eco Management and Audit Scheme) is promoted by the European Commission environmental certification system, which for 20 years proves its worth as the most effective standard for environmental management. Membership in the system is the highest environmental distinction for businesses and non-profit institutions. Among the organizations registered under EMAS are leaders of change in their pro-environmental sectors in the region, the country and even the world.
“Entry into the EMAS Register is a confirmation of our policy in which the most important point is the energy transition. In our daily work, we focus on environmentally friendly solutions, promote energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. That is why I am glad that our management strategy based on the functioning of environmentally friendly basics was confirmed by EMAS “- says Jan Woźniak, CEO ENGIE Polska.
